"As Project Manager for a large manufacturing/ sales and distribution company, my time was tight. I needed a construction manager I could trust to meet my standards. It is a reflection of my attitude of expertise and quality. TG Schulz was the only company I would trust to do the job... and he did." - Jim, Tsawwassen

Bringing a home back to live

When our client approached us, this home was in dire need of a transformation. Outdated, poorly insulated with sawdust in the walls, and containing asbestos, the structure was beyond saving. The entire upper floor had to be removed to make way for a fresh start.
Our plan? A full second-story rebuild and a custom-designed drive-through garage, tailored to fit the unique layout of the property. This project is more than just a renovation—it’s about restoring a home and creating something new, functional, and built to last.
Follow the journey on our YouTube series, From Ruins to Renewal, and watch this house come back to life.

Our client had purchased this charming two-story lakeside home, drawn to its potential and beautiful location. However, the house came with significant challenges. The insulation, made of sawdust, had completely collapsed, and asbestos was hidden within the structure, requiring careful removal. Additionally, the entire upper floor was structurally unsound and had to be demolished, while the lower level was fully gutted.
Working closely with our client, we developed the best plan to meet their needs. The upper floor will be completely rebuilt, and we’re adding a custom-designed drive-through garage tailored to the unique layout of the property’s driveway.
The demolition of the upper floor is already complete, and formwork has been constructed in preparation for the next step—pouring the concrete. Stay tuned as we share more updates on this exciting transformation!
